Hi Bruce, you might want to try pouring a bottle of bleach down the drain. You could have a mold/mildew problem and the bleach will kill that off. Granted the bleach won't stick around any longer than the water but it will kill off various things that could be creating the odor. Personally, I have to wonder if the plumbing isn't leaking the water out (instead of it evaporating), but considering that this is all encased in concrete there's really no way to know.
