if you confirmed it was reset and not tripped. then the only other thought is you might have still hooked up the line, the hot black and white source pair, to the load side of the GFCI instead of on the line side of the GFCI...this is easy to get mixed up so double check that the hot source pair coming from the circuit breaker are indeed connected to the line side then the other black and white pair are going to your other outlets downstream and should be connected to the load side. all I can think to tell you. good luck LJ
