, but, I can tell you that a pool is not something that will increase your property value or interest. To many, a pool is a liability.

I have had some reputable realitors state that very few things will actually increase the value of a home mainly if repairs are needed or remodeling or updating is done, then the home just needed that. This is just under the category of things that need to be done to maintain the home and make it updated and more presentable. A updated home will sell faster or less time on the market because it is more attractive and the new buyer might not have to do this them selves, then a outdated home might take longer to sell and need some things done to make it sell faster.

I have been told that if you are making repairs to increase your value then you are doing it for the wrong reasons.
