Unless you have berber type carpet, the little carpet fibers in the air (especially with cheap carpet) will melt onto the flame sensor over time, reqiring its replacement at a 5 year interval or so.
The heat exchangers are not going to last too long in really cold climates where the furnace runs a lot. A/C condensers do not use scroll compressor when it's a Janitrol, avoid that if you are in a hot climate.
Also, primary control board will "ZAP" out at the slightest AC line hit... get a big MOV from radio shack and mount it across the hot and common wires in the AC junction box for the unit to avoid that problem better.
