Its not fast in concrete, BUT

ceilings are usually white and the walls your colors. This makes the room and especially wall molding stand out more and makes the room lighter and larger.

But, I have seen just as many homes with the ceiling the same color as the walls.

For what its worth, I like a white ceiling with a contrasting color wall. Linen is so close to white, I would make sure the ceiling is a pure snow driven white.
