The problem is with your thermostat/fan control, not your limit switch. If you have a thermostat that has a fan switch you can set to "on" or "auto" you need to set it to "auto" If this isn't the problem, then:
The three pointers on the limit switch are for fan on, (middle one)which shoud be set for about 140 degrees, fan off, (lower one) which should be set for about 100 degrees (if set too low, the fan will run all the time, and won't shut off. This could be your problem. The 3rd pointer (upper one) for off is the safety high limit for the furnace, which will shut the furnace off if the temperature in the plenum gets too high. (like if your fan would fail) It should be set for about 180 degrees.
