It Depends!

Greetings Steve,

It depends on what, where, and how often you will be using the nailers.

You will also get alot of personal opinions on this subject. You should see past post.

This is my opinion,

I like Porter Cable products. I also own an air compressor and I like air tools. I own a Brad nailer and two angle nailers, (1 finish & 1 Framing).

I do all my projects at home so I'm not lugging all this stuff around. If you are going to be doing alot of outside work, you may want to look into the Paslode cordless nailers.

I also see alot of Hitachi nailers on construction sites but, generaly they are coil roof nailers.

I don't believe in buying combo tools like a stapler/nailer. I think you should buy the right tool for the job. I think they hold up better.

If you are just starting out, I would look in the Orange store, at the power tool section, and see if the have any rebuilt nailers. Often they do and they are marked down and warranteed.

Remember to stick with a known brand.

I hope this helps,
