RL River Rock and Suede are both considered "flat" finishes - and therefore
are not washable.
They will get dirty, and they burnish (show a mark if you rub them)
Dark colors are better - they don't show the dirt so much - that's why all
of the original colors were dark - the new lighter ones were introduced last
Suede touches up better than River Rock - but they still are not great.
They are not recommended to be topcoated with a clear - it ruins the color
and the shadows that make the finish appealing in the first place.
My suggestion would be to try one of the glaze finishes - Denim, Chambray,
Linen, or Leather. The glaze is a semi-gloss - so it is scrubbable. These
