Reading some other posts here it seems it's important that the insulation facing be toward the living space. Investigating my home (which is about 140 years old with partial crawl space) the floor above the crawl space has been insulated with the kraft facing the ground. Should I crawl under there and flip it over or is it really that big of a deal? Probably 1000 sq ft of flooring, but the floor joists are 10" round poles. I don't appear to have any problems that I'm aware of and the floor is not terribly cold. It is cold on one section that doesn't have insulation but that section is very low to the ground and rather unaccessible. Opinions?
