We are remodeling an old farm house and need to install insulation. We have considered blown-in insulation for the walls, but today we discovered that throughout the walls there are braces placed diaganolly between the studs for extra support. We had planned on blowing in insulation from the top of the walls, but these beams will prevent the whole wall from being filled, thus leaving an area with no insulation. Does anyone have any suggestions or better ideas? Please help! Thanks, Jessica and David
