Hi, Jeff. You will find plenty of proponents on both sides and both are good products. If you are considering DIY installation, the fiberglass is much easier and cheaper. At least one major brand now makes fiberglass batts in a sleeve so you do not have nearly as many "itchies" putting fiberglass in an attic. You still want to dress appropriately and wear a good mask while you are installing it.
