Insulating existing plaster wall

Posted by Becky on January 26th, 2003 12:45 PM

Is there a way to insulate without tearing out the plaster walls? The house was built in the 20's and is plaster on metal wire.

I had seen a show were they drilled holes in the walls and blew in insulation of some kind.

If it can be done, what kind of insulation (foam, etc)? Can it be a do-it-yourself job, or would you need to hire someone?
