Insulating a Basement Bath Tub

I have a steel bath tub located in the basement. My wife complains that the cold tub reduces the water temperature drastically and by the time she gets into the tub, the water is cold. I am thinking of insulating the underneath of the tub by placing either fiberglass insulation or expanding foam in between the spaces beneath the tub. Does anyone have a suggestion of which would work better ?
