Insulating 1930' attic with knob & tube wiring in it.

Posted by Mike W. on September 8th, 2000 10:55 PM

Can anyone give me any info on things to consider when insulating a 1930's attic that has old knob & tube wiring between the joists? I am told that it is not a concern by some and others say it could be a fire hazard to insulate there. HELP! I really hate to see those heating $$$'s go through the roof.
