installing wainscoating

Posted by Nancy on May 4th, 2003 07:53 AM

I am interested in installing pine wainscoating in a small bedroom the pieces are pre-cut to 313/4" long and I want to put them up with a chair rail on the top and moulding on the bottom, but I have not figured out the best way to install the wainscoating I've heard you glue it to the wall, glue only the seams together using the chair rail and bottom moulding to hold it in place on the wall, just to use the moulding to hold it in place, stapling the pieces together, etc. Please help, I am so confused!
