I'm installing 3 pocket doors in a loghome.
I'm working on in the mountains of colorado.

Here's some Tips on installing them.

Make sure your framing is plumb, level and square.
Install a header(especially if it's a bearing wall).
Doors should be installed 3/4 in. to 1 1/2 above floor
for rug,shag,hardwood,tile,ect.
Some manufactures suggest to figure the header size
Double the door size plus 1"-4" wider clearance.
kingstuds with 80 1/2" trimmers + 1 1/2 bottom plate
Makes an 82" rough opening or (6'8" + 2")or 6'10".

The homeowner changed his mind after i installed
a 2'8" swing door "FIRST"

"Hey i bought a pocket door to go in there...."
