I can't believe these guys get paid the money they do for the work (or lack there of) that they do. That's why the generator for 2 days...the first guy who fixed the transformer looked at the big box in the shop and then at the wires in the outlet that started this (at my request). I also asked him to look at box in basement and at the wiring I described in previous post. His reply was that it wasn't his job and that I should hire an electrical contractor. Whatever....
I asked him, calmly, to get his supervisor on the phone. Tried to tell me that he couldn't do that and I told him I knew better because when we had the fire I did the same thing. So he did and I explain to the super that I wanted someone else to come out and look. He came the next day.
He looked at everything I requested and said that it was all okay...there weren't any problems before and there shouldn't be any in the future. Okay and you have a degree from where? Fruit Loops University? Even I know better than this.
So forwarded report to landwitch and will wait to see what she says.
I do electric on my street/strip car and it took some time to embrace that...this house is another story I think. It isn't safe...maybe possessed??? LOL This reinforced my fear especially after house fire started similarly...I keep trying tho and haven't given up. It hasn't beat me yet. I'm pretty hard to beat...
