Input Vs Output Rating Plus Voltage Drop

I suspect that the inverter you have in your camper is 1000 watt input rating. That means that the output is probably in the 800 to 900 watt range. If the Micro your using is rated in that range, the inverter is probably not able to supply it properly.
Also, a 1000 watt inverter would have to be wired to handle roughly 80 amps from the battery. I could be that you have too much voltage drop to the inverter to get proper output. For 80 amp, you should have a minimum of #6 wire, or #4 would be even better.
One more thing, the inverter output is probably not a sine wave as in your home power. It is probably a square type wave, which could affect the electronics in the microwave.
You could check with your local RV dealer and get their opinion.
