Info on converting to nat. gas.

Posted by Linda on June 5th, 1999 11:02 AM

I want to convert from oil to nat. gas furnace.
I have lots of questions. The gas company
will give me the line and the meter. The HVAC company
will install the furnace. Who runs the lines from the
meter to the furnace/stove/dryer, etc? Do I need to
hire someone else to do this? I am trying to determine
the timing of this stuff. Should I get the gas line/meter first?
Should I start everything at the same time?

Anybody gone through this already?

Any info appreciated. The gas co. is less than helpful.
