Look at some older questions.

Try the books below. They provide excellent information. Watch out for 'all' waterproofing contractors. I don't want to stereotype but a lot are very 'slick'. Best place to waterproof is outside. Do everything outside you can. Regrade, swales, berms, french drains. Get all water far away from house. I however am not a purist. Interior systems can and do work.
