infloor radiant heat, the best method to install

I have been thinking about installing a hot water heating system in a concrete slab for my new house. Since i'm planning on doing most the work myself, I don't want to mess up the foundation. Will the controle joints in the concrete affect the pex tubing, and if so what should I do. Thank You Scott Fuller.
