Improving performance of Craftsman woodworking power tools

Posted by Ken Kelley on November 18th, 1997 08:28 PM

I am in search of ways to improve the accuracy and optimize efficiency of my major Sears power tools (jointer, bandsaw, radial saw, table saw, drill press, etc.). It seems that this goal could be reached with carefull adjustment of the tools and shimming to reduce slop in the mechanisms. Is there anyone that can be of help in this matter? Are there any publications that can guide me?

I'm hoping that someone has done this work and can advise me in how to proceed.

Thanks,

Ken Kelley
