If cabinets are in good shape on interior, consider either refinishing them (any color, sprayed on like paint but much harder and more durable - washable),which is least expensive option, or refacing them. In refacing you will get new doors and hinges, new drawer fronts, "skin" to match for areas around cabinets (face). Be careful who you hire. If you have a DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen near by, that company is great. Refacing needs to be placed on the cabinets in whole sheets before being cut and then needs to be sealed at every cut so the two layers of facing don't separate in a year.
