Imitation shakes...

From your post, I am assuming you are looking for imitation shakes and not dimensional shingles, that are often touted as looking like shakes, but actually look nothing like true shakes. While I have seen products in the past made from metal and aluminum, as well as plastic, I would highly recommend fibre-cement shakes for their durability and truly realistic lookalike of the real thing. You will find installers much more familiar with the fibre-cement products and here is a link for a manufacturer in your state that produces a high quality product.
