you might be better off.Ihave delt with Mastercraft prehungs,if that is what you are talking about,the jambs are cardboard and don't hold a nail or a screw.If your old jambs are in good shape,put a coat or two of Kilz on then paint.You can buy the doors as blanks,but you will have to cut in the butts and locksets yourself.I did this in my house and it was worth the time and effort.
