suck back through a trap if the house is pretty airtight. Try cracking a window near the fireplace and see if that helps. Also, if that bathroom is not used much, the trap may not be full? Ray's the plumbing pro...All I know is I can't have a fire both in my fireplace in living room and stove in family room at the same time without a door or window open. Luck, Kizmet
