I build decks for a living and other carpentry things.
I have had a Makita, which I dearly hated. Then I have had three Porter's. Porters have great battery's and chargers.
I would not want any drill with more power than 12.2. I used a 19 and kept twisting off heads. I do not like to mess with the clutch, I keep it on drill mode for everything, too much trouble to move around.
The more power is not necessary the better tool. If you will use this for your work, you will be buying a new one every two to three years anyway, they just don't last that long when used daily.
As I said, I do like POrter's battery and charger system.
