All the plans I see are for very conventional barn designs. My home was built (by the previous owner) by hand over 7 years. He cut down every tree himself. The house is made of 12 to 24 inch diameter logs. The style is similar to an Alpine lodge -- though it looks like Hanzel and Grettel live here. The roof is concrete tile. The exterior has plaster accents on the upper floor with wood inlaid. The roof is gabeled with dormers. We live in a forest.
I can't find any books or designs of this style. The barn I picture is 30x30 with 2 stories. It would house hay, feed, generator and other equipment and upstairs would house food and household items.
