most paint used on log homes or log siding homes is like woodscapes from sherwin, its a paint/stain. The stain part makes this a very unlikely project for stripping.

Woodscapes from Sherwin William's is excellent for this type of application and it comes in many colors. If you cannot get the paint off, you could just paint over this with a tan or some shade similar to the natural log look.

Just an idea.
