Aliphatic resin glues (Elmers, Titebond, etc) will melt around 350 degrees. I have been removing the old plywood from face frames this way for my current kitchen remodel. Heat gun works great. have to be able to get the glue to 350 and if its in a joint like a chair leg, this might be hard to do without causing heat damage to the furniture or finish. Luck, Kizmet
