I have been told, but do not subscribe to this....

some painters and dealers are saying that oil can go on latex primer and latex paint. I have heard this more and more these days and I cringe when it hits my estecian tubes.

It has been a long standing thing that oil cannot go on latex because oil has roots. Latex can go on oil, because latex does not have roots.

I do not subscribe to this, because I am an old timer painter, but, with today's tech, they say it does not matter.

But, if you are scepticle and from Missouri then I would buy latex paint. its less time consuming than repainting the primed screens again.

I will get flack and "bouncing betty's" from this post, but remember I do not subscribe to this new philo.
