I hope that this is NOT a thing of the future. I know the thinking of my 21 year old nephew, he and his generation might think badly not about Pearl, but our attack on Japan. I asked him what do you mean in a stern voice, he stated that Nagasaki and Tokyo were not military targets but purely civilian, where Pearl was a military target, therefore we might not have been right.
I, without showing too much consternation, asked him how many lives were saved by doing what we did to Japan? We could have been speaking Japanese as we type now.
