via the circuit breakers for the two bathrooms before attempting to install the GFCIs....\
If I understand you correctly both bathroom outlet locations had two pairs of wires in the existing boxes,,,,If so, then you probably have the hot pair of black and white wires connected to the load side of the GFCI outlet...BUT the hot pair should be connected to the line in side of the GFCI ..then the remaining pair connects to the load side of the GFCI.....
You need a volt meter to determine which pair is hot when the circuit breaker is turned back on...
