In that you have to ventilate the space to dry and keep it dried out.
As to your last paragraph...The dose of cold air will not add to the condensation, but help to dry things out. As the cold air warms up, its relative humidity will drop, helping to dry out your space. The warm, humid air going to the outside carrys out the moisture.
If it were me, and there was no other reason to heat the garage, I would shut off the heat and maximize the ventilation. Even if it is below freezing, things will dry out.
