In 1989, we had a log home built in Vermont that we use as a second home, using Hurd Windows. Last year, I noticed that one of the casement windows became foggy. A closer look revealed that the seal was broken on the triple pane glass window. I called Hurd Millwork Co. to see about a replacement window covered under their warranty. I was told that the 10 year warranty was over and that I would have to incur the cost of replacing the window. I was surprised to find that the warranty was for only 10 years. Since then I found 3 more windows had fogged up. I would not recommend Hurd Windows based on my experience with them.
