I am so glad I read the 2 messages on the Hunting Coat Red Ralph Lauren color. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why after 6 coats (on a test area) the color was no where near the color chip that I selected. The painters were on their way and I thought I'd have to start over with color shopping - but after reading the 'comments' - I had Sherwin Williams match the chip and it looks great (true color)- and we're only on the 1st coat.
The Ralph Lauren paint looked like Hot Pink Nail polish in the can and the color stayed in the purple-pink was awful! I was told by the painters that maybe after 8 coats or so it would match the chip.

So my suggestion....pick out the color chip from Ralph Lauren - great colors - but go elsewhere to match the paint.
