How thick of a coat to Polyurethane wood floor?

Posted by Rob on February 14th, 2003 07:27 PM

I'm on my third coat of Polyurethane and was thinking about making this last coat pretty thick in application. My hope is to help cover some 'inconsistencies' that have not sanded out in the other coats (dust particles, holidays, some grain spots).

My thoughts are to go similar to going a couple feet with a fully loaded roller then reloading with polyurethane, where before I had gone 9 feet from one load.

thanks in advance
Rob
