you know, when people come on asking about filling in cracks in wood flooring, one big flag pops up in my head, even being this old, your floor is still moving around in the winter and in the summer.

Filling in the cracks could just explode on you during the next season. These cracks are sometimes an expansion joint and filling them in too tight will prohibit this

To get that out of the way, you need a good filler that is sandable and most important is "STAINABLE". So many fillers and putty's are not so and will ruin a nice project in a minute.

Go to a reputable floor specialists and entertain this question to them and the concern I have in floor movement.

Lets see what the others have to say.
