How I installed in my roof

Hi Gib,

I'm putting Reflectix in my cathederal ceiling, it is the 2'x25' double-sided type; the instructions were pretty vague to non-existent, but on another sized roll of Reflectix I saw where you put a 3/4" air gap on each side of it, so I installed 1"x2"x8's in the corner of each rafter and stapled the Reflectix to it (leaving a 3/4" gap between it and the sheathing). As far as a gap between it and the fiberglass, I'm not sure how to do this other than make sure the insulation is not as deep as the space left between the Reflectix and end of the rafter.

Hope this helps, but you may also search the internet for "radiant barrier" and see if there are different installation methods....
