How far from the wall should a woodburner be placed...

Posted by M.Delagardelle on December 1st, 2002 09:08 AM

My husband brought home a wood burner that will heat up to 2700 sq ft. How far from the walls should it be placed if it is placed in a corner at an angle facing out? It will be in our basement with one wall being poured concrete and the other wall has tongue and groove knotty pine paneling. Please answer asap, as he wants to get this put in right away, and I don't want our house to burn down...
