How Do I Light Pilot?

I don't know where the valve is, the only thing I recognize is the reset button. It was finelast Friday Oct 4th, then Saturday it started blowing cool air.
I read the instructions that say open the valve and hold the reset button for 60 seconds, only I don't know where the vale or the pilot is. Where do I look to see if the pilot is lit?
Please advise soon as it's cold!
