Shelley, my husband and I are designing a home that will be a combination victorian era/farmhouse style home. For the victorian portion of the house we have a ton of books. The best place we found to check out books to buy was the Winchester Mystery house gift shop. They have a very large source of victorian house books. We did notice that A. J. Bicknell & Co. published by Dover Publications, Inc., 31 East 2nd Street, Mineola, N.Y. 11501 has the largest selection of books on victorians. You might write the publisher and ask if they have any books that relate specifically to San Francisco Victorians. They do have a multitude of Victorian houses, most of the ones I have show Victorians back east. I also have some really great books on the Gingerbread goodies used as decoration on Victorians. If you need more information, send me an email at - Patti
