house jacking

The support cribbing should be large wood timbers......they don't need to be P/T unless you intend to leave them under the house...........Concrete 'slabs' can crack sending the jacks flying.........

Any jack posts you use should be free of cracks and should be wraped with plastic strapping or metal bands to prevent blow-out......And be sure you're jacking under the load/supports.........

Most people RENT the house jacks........since they're used for such a short period of time......But........
