My old shower has been removed and i am ready for a custom shower . I have plenty know it all neighbors and a couple of pretty good general contractr friends, so i hear that hot mop is the best base for an unusual size shower base(& least expensive). I eventually want to install slate, travertine or marble with a seamless glass shower walls and door. I am handy enough to do most of this my self but, i cant find info on how to start. My 2 x 4 dam is in place.
what do i do now? is the tile backboard used instead of green board. does the hotmop go on top of backboard or underneath
does anyone know of a book about this process?
