Hmmm.....we were advised differently...

We just finished a portion of our basement and were advised to paint the concrete (block, not poured, I don't know if that makes a difference) with DryLock paint to seal it off from that direction and also to put a vapor barrier on the warm side of the stud wall. We used polystyrene insulation on the walls that were backed by the ground and fiberglass insulation on the walls that are exposed on the outside. Now I'm getting worried that we did the wrong thing, although it's been a year and a half since we did the first few walls and we haven't had a problem at all. Any other input?
