Help! I'm a first time vinyl flooring installer!

Posted by Kristen on November 10th, 1999 05:30 PM

Hi all-- I've just moved in to my very own place, and I love it particularly because of its age-- It was built in 1941. Unfortunately, it looks like in the late 70's/early 80's, some one installed burnt orange and gold tiles in the bathroom, tiny ones, very much like what one might see in a public restroom. I've already found the 12"x12" squares of vinyl tile I want to put in, but I was kind of hoping some one could respond or email me with the basics of installation. I've got my knife to cut around the sink and toilet, and the threshold, luckily, is higher than the floor, so the vinyl should work fine with that... But it's all seeming too simple... I want to make sure I'm not overlooking anything. Thanks for any and all advice!
