heating and airconditioning..

Posted by Robert Homsey on July 7th, 1999 01:45 PM

hi bob,
my question is... I need to put a new heating system in my house and want to put a/c at the same time... My house is app. 50 years old cape style which we are currently renovating into a colonial house and has an old furnance with force hot air (old duck system). Should I go with a new hot air system or switch to baseboard heating..

I heard about the new hydro air (heating & a/c unit in one).

I also heard about a new swedish air conditioning system, that is suppose to be simple and effienct.. allowing one small unit on each floor. (app. $1200 per unit) That does not require a outside unit and only additional plumbing...that is suppose to be very good.....

well bob, what is your recommendations and if you had estimate costs.. that would be great.. thanks bob very much... rob
