heat pumps

if you live where it snows get rid of the heat pump(hp) they are only effective in warm climates where the heat is only turned on afew days a year. Depending on how much you pay for gas and electric in your area, you might want to hook up your hp to a gas or propane furnace If electric is very cheap, this will do on days where it is not too cold. Heat pumps dont work anywhere there is a real winter but a lot of builders don't know this. good luck
