Heat pump noise

What you hear is refrigerant in either the liquid or gas state. A little noise is normal but a lot of noise may indicate an under charge or even an over charge. I would have it looked at because the oil in the system circulates with the refrigerant and if your system is low on refrigernat you can damage your compressor.
