Anyone have a fairly general answer to the
question of how a Slant/Fin type baseboard FHW
system stacks up against a Hydronic Panel/Radiator
system as far as performance, and, more importantly,
price? I'm guessing that the Slant/Fin type baseboard
is priced out in linear feet (would love a ballpark
price p.l.f. if anyone's got it) and I know that
the hydronic panels are priced more according
to the job as a whole. Any input / suggestions
appreciated. (We're trying to decide on the most
cost-effective yet aesthetically pleasing method
of heating a big old colonial home in the Northeast.
(Don't want to put ugly baseboard stuff in front of beadboard we meticulously scraped...)
